crisis_mods Player Info Name: Belle Over 18: Yes Timezone: CST AIM/Email: slayer203@yahoo.com Experience: Almost 2 years with Parker, started during season 3.
Character Info Fandom: Leverage Name: Parker Gender: Female Age: 28 (best guess) Personality: Skills/Abilities: Master thief, mega fearless, will fight for those close (especially the team), hand to hand combat, fluent in Spanish, possible photographic memory, can pull off a stealth vanishing act, knows cars and can hotwire them (The Boost Job) among other things. Appearance: Parker looks like your average pretty girl in her mid to late 20s. With blond hair and icy blue eyes she could easily model and can pull off the short dresses as needed for cons along with her usual black jeans and sneakers. Parker is somewhat curvy and is working on being more at ease with being pretty. As for hair she's partial to simple ponytails outside of jobs.
She has a cell phone linked to the Leverage HS tucked into her bag along with a Bluetooth earpiece used on jobs (along with several fake ids as needed).
Point in Canon: "The Last Dam Job" from season 4. History: This should be in your own words and not copied and pasted from wikipedia. We want to know your take on the character's history. Known only by her last name, Parker is a risk-taker who loves money above anything. The product of an abusive childhood spent in more than one foster home, Parker is socially awkward, relates poorly to most people and avoids social contact. Parker is proficient with rappelling and similar equipment, and is an expert with a variety of safes and locks, skills she uses in many of the cons.
Parker loves money more than things and would rather have it than buy anything with it. [The Homecoming Job]. She's kind of odd in her manner of speaking, which makes most people think she's crazy (onoging theory within fandom is she has Asperger's, not yet confirmed within the show itself). She's not very modest (she has been known to change clothes any place needed, in spite of people being in the room among other things), and also seems to not have any kind of normal fear like heights or enclosed spaces, but seems rather to emotionally respond better to instances in her past more than anything. She's only insecure about one thing: her ability to pass herself off as a normal person. Sophie has been trying to teach her how to interact better with the human race, and has made slow but steady progress. But without the team to help how will Parker be able to fend for herself.
Parker also seems to have a slight inability to tell white lies, even in the instances to lie to make someone feel better. Such as telling Sophie that her acting was good, even when it wasn't [The Miracle Job] or telling someone that they don't look fat in what they are wearing [The Wedding Job]. But at times it can work in her favor.
During events of The 12 Step Job, Parker was put in rehab and diagnosed with Kleptomania, a disorder where a person has the instinct to collect things, often through a way of stealing. From Parker's revelation when she automatically stole a gun off of a man in the hall ("I didn't mean to, it was just instinct."), it is possible that she has this condition as well, and might not have the ability to control her stealing.
Parker also likes to figure out how to break into seemingly difficult buildings and bypass nearly impossible security systems just for fun. According to her, some people do crosswords... she thinks of ways to steal things. [The First David Job].
Over the course of seasons 3 and 4 she's started to find her place within the team. She's stolen from all over the place (even recovered a stolen heart of all things), has had plenty of adventures and has found love with the team's hacker Alec Hardison (who she also talked through being buried alive). She's even been the guide on several jobs, like getting a message to a dead man's wife (The Lone Way Down Job) and keeping her mentor Archie Leach out of a care home (during season 4) among other moments.
But how will being dumped into a place without the team affect the usually fearless Parker? How will she deal with having to basically learn to trust all over again?
That is only part of the mystery that is the resident thief of the Leverage crew.
(for now leaving out last half of season 4 due to possible spoiler issues given the upcoming 5th season plus the death of Nathan Ford's father during the season finale, will note that if needed in threads. I'm also dealing with a mystery of a backstory so I played with things the best I could given what is known.)
Deepest Desire: Finding happiness on her terms Guilty Pleasure: Candy
Third Person Sample: This should be a third person narrative in your character's point of view. It can serve as an intro to a longer post if you would like to use it in-game. (from now defunct PSL)
After the team found Nathan Ford wandering the streets in the aftermath of the Skull Invasion they knew the team would come through (for now at least till they could explain things they decided to let Nate think it was a nasty bender). She had seen Eliot beat the Skull version of Nathan senseless before they got what they needed and was able to keep team files (minus one disk that she did go and save) and records safe in the process. Granted it was mostly via Hardison pulling off some of the most insane tricks she had ever seen him pull. Even now that still made Parker smile.
But the pretty thief had taken a beating in the process, arriving back in New York City covered in bruises and looking worse for wear but otherwise in one piece. But somehow she had been able to rescue the disk swiped by the Skull and give Sterling a hard time in the process, that was always fun she decided.
The team had sent her back and she could hear them as she walked,"Ezio takes care of you and he'll be worried given all this." Sophie had been honest with her. That had shocked her since only Sophie, Hardison and Eliot knew she had been with him. But they reassured her they knew he was taking care of her and they actually liked him. That alone shocked Parker, mostly since she had only told the team bits and pieces out of pure fear.
While at the same time she knew the team had done real good: Eliot having saved some kids, Hardison tag team hacking with others, Sophie using her high heels to beat a Skull up and even Parker had gotten her spare gear and gone on rescue runs. As she held onto her extra gear (having left one set at Leverage HQ as well) and her backpack she made it inside Assassin's HQ. She rapped on the wall using the code she and Ezio used,"I'm back."
Note: Will set up a permissions post if needed since she will be picking pockets of the willing.

But after the events of the job in San Lorenzo Parker somehow lands in the world of Make Believe and not back in team HQ.
So what is someone like her to do now?
Appearance: Parker looks to be an average young woman in her late 20's to early 30's. She is more at home in jeans and cargos along with her harness and will only wear a dress when its needed for a job. But at the same time she is actually quite pretty and toned from all her time doing the crazy things she does. Likes: Stealing! The team, Hardison (has sort of come clean about her feelings for him), lock picking, new rigs, her bunny, cereal, puzzles of the security system kind, cracking the impossible systems. Dislikes: Sterling! Anyone betraying the team, her past Strengths: Master thief, cat-burglar, pickpocket and safe-cracker (will come with tools of her trade if allowed). Loyal to those close to her (especially the team), will defend little kids given her past, good with a tazer. Weaknesses: Possible mental illness (Aspergers), emotionally impulsive, does not have the best of social skills (but is trying to get better), her past in foster care. Any special facts/special abilities/anything else we should know about your character? She is a professional thief (within the world of Leverage she is one of the best in the business) so her idea of fun means swiping things, if accepted a permission post will be made to inquite what she can steal (but people will get things back). Events of season 3 will have spoiler warnings since the dvd set was just released. First Person Writing Sample (100 words minimum, may use previous game threads): :

I own neither and this profile/character concept is for Land of Make Believe RPG only. Land of Make Believe is entirely fictional. This means that it is in no way real, nor do we the players believe it to be so.
OOC Note: If it is confirmed in Leverage canon that Parker does not have Aspergers that aspect will be adjusted in game to fit what ever does happen on the show. But in the meantime the ongoing theory within the fandom will be used to explain a few things about her. | | Monday, August 16th, 2010 | | 5:02 pm |

Parker (real name never revealed as of current canon) grew up in the foster system from a very young age . Not much is known about Parker's childhood, except that we can assume it wasn't a good period for her, and she blames it for how she "turned out," which she doesn't think is a good thing. (The Stork Job as reference)
Her fake profile for "Alice White" sets her birth date as April 1,1978, which would make her 31 years old (at the present time). However, we don't know that it is Parker's real age and birth date or if Hardison just guessed when preparing it. It also states her height as 5'7" and her weight at 115 lbs. [The Juror #6 Job] Her known family is one brother probably named Frank, who died in an accident involving a bicycle. [The Future Job]
Parker loves money more than things and would rather have it than buy anything with it. [The Homecoming Job]. She's kind of odd in her manner of speaking, which makes most people think she's crazy (onoging theory within fandom is she has Asperger's). List of Abilities/Powers: She's one of the best thieves in the business: she is an expert thief, cat-burglar, pickpocket and safe-cracker. But she's not so great with people. PB: Beth Riesgraf
